A Word from Bob

     I became interested in Massenet’s works after I saw Manon at the Metropolitan Opera several years ago. I purchased Otto Salzer’s 2-volume set on Massenet’s operas. From these books I discovered that there was a Massenet Society in the NYC area and soon became a member. Shortly, I was elected to the board of directors and subsequently their President. From that point I've collected as much material about him and his works as I could.
    I never do anything half-heartedly! I always do it to the utmost! as you will see in the other worlds of Bob’s Universe, excess is the only way! And since the effort is that of one person, it is always possible, and frequently expected, that mistakes or typos will occur.
     Please know that if you find any mistakes or typos that I will immediately correct any and all reported corrections!
